Bucharest Airports National Company has started the delivery and installation of new baggage scanners at Otopeni Airport, which will allow passengers to pass through security without removing their electronic devices and to bring liquids in containers larger than 100 ml. The works will be completed by the first quarter of 2026, and all scanners will be activated simultaneously to avoid discrimination between travelers depending on the terminal.
