The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oana Ţoiu, defends Oana Gheorghiu, reported by the CSM to the Prosecutor's Office: "People who have not said a word about the networks of corruption are now throwing mud and lies exactly at those capable who have proven that they can build independent careers from their networks."

Oana Ţoiu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, emphasized in a recent Facebook post that the constant attacks on those who engage in reforms or denounce injustices are meant to consume resources to intimidate and stop reform initiatives. She highlighted that these attacks are orchestrated by individuals who have not previously reacted to corruption and who wish to maintain a monopoly over public resources.

Oana Ţoiu pointed out that corruption networks operate with weak and dependent individuals, not with those who are independent and credible. She also mentioned that, 30 years after the disappearance of Corneliu Coposu, a new generation understands the importance of the fight for freedom. She encouraged people to denounce smear campaigns as attacks against the ambition for change.
