Invited to Digi24, Oana Gheorghiu stated that she wants PSD to become a stronger party, acknowledging that the formation has lost a significant part of its electorate. She emphasizes that, in order to regain the trust of citizens, PSD must implement internal changes and become a party with vision and a sincere desire to improve the situation in Romania. Gheorghiu believes that once PSD becomes a good and strong party, Romania will benefit from it. Additionally, during the same show, the Deputy Prime Minister commented on the challenge of her appointment in the Government by Sorin Grindeanu, suggesting that he acted to gain political points, without having a personal problem with her.
