Oana Gheorghiu believes that Nicușor Dan was wrong to nominate a prime minister without prior discussions with the party leadership.

Oana Gheorghiu, vice president of PNL, stated that president Nicușor Dan made a mistake by nominating a prime minister from the liberals without consulting the party leadership.

In a show on Digi24, Gheorghiu emphasized the importance of the credibility of state institutions and acknowledged that the president can also make mistakes. She mentioned that Dan may have been influenced by internal information, but emphasized that people are prone to errors. When asked about the comparison between Nicușor Dan and Ilie Bolojan, Gheorghiu stated that the two have different styles, and such a comparison is hypothetical.

She also specified that she did not discuss a possible candidacy of Bolojan in the presidential elections, focusing instead on the current issues of the Government, such as PNRR and tax collection.
