Nicusor Dan avoids saying when he will nominate a new prime minister and calls the past four months a “failure for everyone”

President Nicusor Dan did not say on Monday when he would make a new nomination for the position of prime minister, as the formation of a fully empowered government has not been completed after four months. The head of state called this period “a failure for everyone.”

Asked what example politicians are setting by failing to reach an agreement, the president said the problem also stems from a lack of education in teamwork. He explained that society has focused too much on individual success and skills, to the detriment of cooperation and the community’s interests.

Nicusor Dan argued that, in a complex society, achieving goals requires bringing together the skills of several people. Referring to politics, he said it is “an art of compromise that does not compromise.”

The president did not provide a timeline for appointing a new head of government and did not elaborate on the status of political talks on forming the Executive branch of government. سlug_placeholder:
