Starting today, travelers departing from Otopeni and Băneasa airports can transport liquids, aerosols, and gels in their hand luggage in containers of up to 2 liters, a major change from the previous limit of 100 ml.

This measure, announced by the National Company Bucharest Airports (CNAB), applies only to passengers starting their journey from Bucharest and not to those in transit. The General Director of CNAB, Bogdan Mîndrescu, explained that the relaxation of restrictions is possible due to investments in modern baggage security control technologies, thus aligning the airports with international standards.

This modification specifically targets liquids, aerosols, and gels, thereby facilitating passenger travel.
