On Sunday morning, November 9, the Sântimbru training ground in Alba County hosts the NATO exercise Dacian Fall 2025, dedicated to training engineering troops. This training involves soldiers from France, Portugal, and Romania, who will carry out a complex operation to cross the Mureș River. The operation is supported by air support from allied helicopters, which will conduct reconnaissance, protection, and air transport missions. The exercise brings together a total of 5,000 soldiers and 1,200 technical means from 10 NATO member states, taking place simultaneously in 9 training grounds. Among the participants are Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Italy, Luxembourg, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, and Spain.
