The National Railway Company (C.F.R.) has initiated a large-scale modernization project for the North Station, with the investment amounting to approximately 500 million lei.

The project includes the restoration of facades, structural reinforcement of the monument buildings, modernization of electrical, thermal, sanitary, and safety installations, as well as adapting spaces for universal accessibility. The works will involve both the design and execution of the structural reinforcement and functional modernization of the North Station's Body B, considering the complexity of the necessary interventions for a building classified as a historical monument.
