Iasi Deputy Mayor Daniel Juravle said that the city's district heating system will be modernized by investments of about 442 million lei, the largest funding ever obtained by the City Hall. The projects include the installation of new equipment at CET I and the conversion of CET II Holboca from oil to natural gas. The works will last 18 months and will ensure energy security and thermal comfort for tens of thousands of residents, with a focus on renewable sources in the future.
