The case in which Mitică Dragomir requests a protection order against civic activist Marian Ceaușescu is registered at the Civil Section I, with the first court date set for November 17, 2025. Dragomir is listed as the plaintiff, and Ceaușescu as the defendant, the case being in the substantive phase. The judges are set to analyze the protection request of the former head of the LPF, in the context of previous tense episodes between the two.

Marian Ceaușescu, known for his protests against politicians and defendants in corruption cases, has had direct confrontations with Dragomir in the hallways of the courts, including physical altercations in 2022. Ceaușescu publicly reacted to the new lawsuit, accusing Dragomir of corruption and claiming that he wants the protection order to prevent him from criticizing him.
