Mircea Lucescu is stable, conscious, and cooperative, but his condition remains critical, reports the Bucharest Emergency University Hospital, after the former national team coach suffered a heart attack on Friday morning while he was about to be discharged.

Mircea Lucescu, former coach of the national team, suffered a second heart attack, and his health condition is considered critical.

According to the medical unit, the patient was taken in urgently and brought to the operating room, receiving the necessary treatments according to the protocols in force. Lucescu underwent primary angioplasty.

"The patient is stable, conscious, and cooperative with the medical staff," adds representatives of the Bucharest Emergency University Hospital.

Initially, Lucescu had been stabilized and monitored at the Bucharest Emergency University Hospital, where he was admitted after fainting during the national team's training camp.

The president of the Romanian Football Federation, Răzvan Burleanu, mentioned that the family is by Lucescu's side during this difficult time.
