The former coach of the Romanian national team, Mircea Lucescu, suffered an acute myocardial infarction on Wednesday morning while being hospitalized at the University Hospital, from where he was to be discharged.
According to the medical unit, the patient was taken in urgently and taken to the intervention room, receiving the necessary treatments according to the protocols in force. Lucescu underwent primary angioplasty, and his condition is now stable, being closely monitored by specialists. He remains hospitalized in the Cardiology Department, where he receives appropriate medical care. Doctors continue to evaluate his progress to ensure complete recovery.
