Metrorex is continuing work on Metro Line 6, which will connect Bucharest with Otopeni Airport. The project includes the completion of the guide beams, molded walls and piles at Tokyo, Băneasa Airport, Băneasa Station and Montreal Square stations. Two TBM machines, 'Sfânta Maria' and 'Sfânta Ana', are operational and are excavating the necessary tunnels. Work is progressing rapidly, with thousands of cubic meters excavated and concreted, and the line is expected to be completed soon.
