Mugur Mihăescu, AUR MP, admitted that he did not know about the money he received for rent, having a house in Ilfov. He was asked how he would vote for a bill aimed at abolishing rents for MPs with properties in Bucharest and Ilfov, saying he would vote "with two hands" for the amendments. Mr. Mihăescu said he does not own an apartment in Bucharest and is willing to donate the money to charity. He explained that he was not properly informed about the per diem he received.
