Ionel Neagu, the mayor of Troianul commune, Teleorman county, is under judicial control for six offenses of bribery, on suspicion of receiving 145,000 lei from representatives of some companies in exchange for preferential award of contracts for the rehabilitation of a school and modernization of streets. DNA ordered precautionary measures on his assets and imposed restrictions on his judicial control.
