Mario De Mezzo, the mayor of Slatina, was hospitalized in serious condition at the Slatina County Emergency Hospital after a bicycle accident in the Youth Park, where he suffered a hip fracture. Although the incident occurred a few days before, his condition worsened, necessitating his transfer to a hospital in Bucharest for further investigations. Doctor Alin Dinu confirmed that the mayor was investigated and stabilized before the transfer.
