The Mayor of the Capital, Ciprian Ciucu, called on Friday for the parties in the governing coalition to adopt the state budget in the form proposed by the Executive, emphasizing that this is essential for Bucharest residents. Ciucu warned that, in the absence of a budget, the City Hall risks being unable to pay, having a peak of financial obligations of 150 million lei in April. The mayor criticized the irresponsibility of the PSD for blocking the meetings of the General Council, which could not convene three times, affecting its functionality. He emphasized that Bucharest significantly contributes to the national budget and accused the Ciolacu Government of reducing the funds allocated to city halls, which has led to a precarious financial situation for PMB.
