A 42-year-old man, reported missing on Friday after leaving a sheepfold in Ungureni, was found dead on Saturday in the bed of the Cricovul Dulce river by police and firefighters.

The disappearance was reported to the Dâmbovița Police on Friday, around 11:00 AM, and the search involved police forces, a service dog, and firefighters. Initial checks did not indicate signs of violence on the man's body, and the body was taken by forensic doctors for an autopsy. The police have opened a criminal case for manslaughter, investigating the circumstances of the death. The searches focused on the area of the sheepfold and its vicinity.
