On November 20, 2025, a 38-year-old man caused a traffic accident in Sector 4 of Bucharest, damaging four parked vehicles and colliding with a bus that was driving legally. After leaving the scene of the accident, the man was identified only on December 9, when he presented himself at the Minor Accidents Office.

The police established that he did not ensure proper safety when leaving the location and continued to move without presenting himself to the police within the legal term of 24 hours. Following the investigations, the man refused to be tested with the alcohol equipment and was taken to the National Institute of Legal Medicine for biological sample collection. He was fined 5,062.5 lei, his driving license was suspended for 120 days, and the registration certificate was retained.
