Police officers in Botosani have identified a man who abandoned two puppies in a raffia sack left on the side of a road in the commune of Șendriceni. The act was caught on a surveillance camera and the puppies were rescued by a passer-by who later gave them up for adoption. The man was fined 12,000 lei under Law 205/2004 on animal protection.
