A 55-year-old man has been detained for sexual assault against a 15-year-old girl in a train station in Bucharest.

The incident took place on Wednesday evening, when the man allegedly touched the girl brutally in an intimate area. The police were alerted after the teenager requested help. She was accompanied by a group of foreign citizens, including a 25-year-old young man who intervened later. The man was detained for 24 hours, and the investigation continues under the supervision of a prosecutor specialized in sexual abuse against minors.
