The police intervened quickly, and the suspect attempted to flee but was caught and restrained. During the pursuit, the police found a knife that the man allegedly used during the act.

The victim was approached on Măgura Vulturului Street, where the assailant threatened her with the knife and forced her to move to a parking lot, where he sexually assaulted her. After managing to escape and block the assailant's access in the stairwell of the building, the woman called the authorities. The man is to be presented to the court with a proposal for preventive detention. The police recommend that citizens immediately report criminal acts to facilitate the rapid intervention of the authorities.
