A 58-year-old man was arrested after driving an unregistered tractor under the influence of alcohol, causing an accident.

A 58-year-old man was detained by police in Timiș after being involved in a traffic accident on December 26, in the locality of Satchinez. The incident occurred on the communal road DC37, where the man, driving an agricultural tractor, lost control of the direction and hit four parked cars, causing only material damage and no casualties.

Testing with a breathalyzer showed a blood alcohol level of 1.23 mg/l, and checks revealed that he did not hold a driving license for any category of vehicles and that the tractor was not registered. The police have opened a criminal investigation for driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, without a license, and unregistered. The man was detained for 24 hours, and investigations continue under the coordination of the prosecutor's office.
