A man from Bucharest was arrested for attempted murder after he tried to force his way into a rival's home and stabbed him.

The incident took place on October 10, 2025, when the aggressor, who was already in a conflict with the victim, attempted to force the door of her residence. During the altercation, he struck her multiple times with a sharp object, causing the victim serious injuries. Neighbors intervened to save the victim, who was transported to the hospital, her condition being stable. The aggressor was apprehended and subsequently placed in preventive detention for 30 days, and the investigations are ongoing.
