The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has warned Romanian citizens of a new eruption of the Lewotobi Laki-laki volcano on the islands of Flores, which has led to a ban on access to the 7 km zone around the volcano. Indonesian authorities have raised the state of alert and canceled flights to and from Flores and Bali. MAE recommends avoiding travel to these areas and offers consular assistance to Romanians in need of help.
