The National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority (ANSVSA) has announced the withdrawal of a batch of Gelatelli ice cream sold in Lidl stores, due to the risk of allergic reactions to cashew nuts.
The affected product is 'Gelatelli milk-based ice cream with cocoa sauce (8%), chocolate pieces (3%) and pistachio paste (2%)', from batch D2W48J25R1, with an expiration date of November 24, 2027. ANSVSA has recommended that individuals allergic to cashew nuts do not consume this product, while for those without allergies, the ice cream remains safe. Lidl Romania has withdrawn the product from stores and offers the possibility of returning it, including without a receipt.
The withdrawal exclusively concerns the mentioned batch, and other Gelatelli products are not affected. Consumers can obtain additional information at the customer assistance line of Lidl Romania.
