Kelemen Hunor, the president of UDMR, stated on Friday that the party he leads aspires to be part of the government, but is aware that it could end up in opposition, a scenario he does not consider alarming. He emphasized that opposition can represent an opportunity for political construction.
Hunor mentioned that UDMR also proposes to contribute to a government capable of solving the country's problems and improving services for citizens, through a budget that offers a positive perspective to Romanians. The statements were made in the context of the Union's Council of Representatives (CRU) of UDMR, where he presented a political report. He also highlighted the importance of unity and community for the future of the party.
