The president of UDMR, Kelemen Hunor, stated that the tensions between PSD and USR are exaggerated by the media and social networks. In a broadcast on Prima TV, he emphasized that the two parties get along much better than the public opinion would believe, asserting that the atmosphere in coalition meetings is constructive.

Although there are public criticisms among the members of the two formations, Kelemen explained that within the framework of internal discussions, solutions are sought to bring closer the differing viewpoints. He added that the negative perception comes from statements made after meetings, which can create the impression of severe conflicts.
