The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, together with the Romanian Railway Safety Authority and the Bucharest Territorial Labor Inspectorate, are carrying out a wide-ranging inspection at Metrorex SA. The mixed teams, made up of state inspectors and representatives of the Control Body, are checking compliance with legal rules on metro train safety, vehicle maintenance, work rules and incident management. Minister Ciprian Șerban emphasized the importance of this action for the safety of passengers and staff. The conclusions will be made public once the checks have been completed.
