Jean Vișan, an experienced forestry engineer, has been selected to serve as the interim general director of the National Forest Administration, Romsilva, for a period of five months. The selection procedure, conducted transparently, included recorded interviews and a public debate. Vișan is 48 years old, obtained his doctorate in forestry in 2017, and has held various positions within Romsilva, having a career of over 15 years in the field.
