The prosecutor's office and the police have opened an investigation regarding the death of a patient at the "Bagdasar-Arseni" Hospital, following suspicions of medical negligence.

The investigation was initiated following indications that the patient did not receive the necessary medical care. On the morning of October 29, 2025, prosecutors conducted searches at the hospital and issued summons for two medical staff members, who will be interviewed. The investigations focus on the circumstances of the death, which occurred on August 31, 2025. Authorities continue the investigations and will provide additional information if necessary.
