An authority responsible for the protection of the rights of persons with disabilities and a non-governmental organization reported irregularities found after a monitoring visit.

Georgiana Pascu, the coordinator of the organization "Advocacy for Dignity", described the inhumane conditions in which patients are kept, including extreme filth and the lack of essential hygiene elements. The hospital responded that medical activity is carried out under normal conditions, but acknowledged the need to improve accommodation and care conditions. Hospital representatives emphasized their commitment to transparency and dialogue with the authorities.
