A victim in the case of the suspicious deaths at the 'Sf. Pantelimon' Hospital in Bucharest will be exhumed on Wednesday, according to lawyer Adrian Cuculis. This measure was taken by prosecutors to obtain new evidence, although the lawyer claims that it is not possible to determine the concentrations of norepinephrine in the victim's body after a year and a half from exhumation, qualifying the decision as intrusive.

The Bucharest Tribunal's Prosecutor's Office has expanded the criminal investigation against four doctors from the hospital, accused of qualified murder and incitement to murder in connection with the deaths of some patients admitted to the ICU. Previously, two doctors had been placed in preventive detention but were later released due to lack of evidence. Prosecutors claim that the doctors acted with the intention of suppressing the patients' lives by reducing the doses of norepinephrine, which led to cardiac arrest and deaths. Recordings from the period 2022-2024 show that the doctors sarcastically discussed the patients' deaths and boasted about their number, which further complicates the legal situation.
