An investigation has been opened in Constanta after fake QR codes were discovered over the official ones for parking payment. A motorist has been defrauded of 700 lei and police are investigating computer fraud and deception. As a result of the incident, the City Hall has temporarily suspended parking payment by scanning QR codes to prevent further fraud.
