Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan stated on Wednesday that for the closure of the PNRR, additional essential laws are needed, with significant amounts ranging from 770 million euros to one billion. Among these is the Urbanism Code, which has been blocked since December in the Administration Committee of the Chamber of Deputies. Bolojan emphasized the importance of the rapid adoption of these laws, suggesting extraordinary sessions in both Chambers in the second half of July.
He mentioned that a vote in Parliament would represent a major responsibility for all political parties. The Prime Minister also noted that if there is a political agreement, these laws can be adopted quickly, considering the final negotiations with the European Commission on the salary component. Bolojan stressed the need for political leaders to study these laws before the plenary of each chamber to ensure an efficient adoption procedure.
