The analysis conducted by Storia for December 2025 shows a general stability in the rental market of major cities in Romania, with specific increases in the south and west. Bucharest recorded the highest increases, especially in Sectors 3 and 5, with a 9% rise in studio apartments. Craiova (+10%) and Timișoara (+7%) had the highest annual increases, while Cluj-Napoca remains the most expensive city for rentals, with averages of 400 euros for studio apartments and 749 euros for three-bedroom apartments.

Arad remains the city with the cheapest rents, at 220 euros for studio apartments. Additionally, interest in renting remains high, but decisions are more cautious, with a 2% decrease in contacts between tenants and landlords. Overall, prices have remained stable in most cities, with the exception of some moderate adjustments and significant local differences.
