Ialomița Police discovered human remains in Slobozia, after a citizen reported to the authorities. Investigations are ongoing.

On Saturday, the police in Ialomița were alerted via a 112 call regarding the discovery of remains that could be human, in the municipality of Slobozia. The report was made by a person who, while walking their dog, noticed the remains next to a house in the Tineretului neighborhood. A complex operational team was sent to the scene to conduct investigations.

Approximately 40 police officers, gendarmes, and local police, along with two canine teams, participated in the search over an area of 122 hectares, but no clear evidence was identified. In support of the operations, a drone from the Local Police of Slobozia was used. Authorities continue the investigations under the coordination of the Prosecutor's Office next to the Slobozia Court, investigating the possibility of committing the crime of manslaughter.
