Traffic on DN 1, in the direction of Brașov-Bucharest, is extremely congested starting from the town of Predeal. The Brașov County Police Inspectorate has announced that traffic is moving with difficulty, which is why traffic police devices have been placed in critical areas. The police recommend using the alternative route DN 1A (Brașov-Săcele-Cheia-Ploiești) to reduce waiting times.
