Meteorologists issued three orange and yellow heat alerts on Monday morning, valid from August 10 until August 12, 10 AM.
The first yellow alert targets the counties of Caraș-Severin, Timiș, Arad, Bihor, Satu Mare, Sălaj, and Maramureș, where temperatures will reach 35-36 degrees. From 10:00 AM, a yellow alert will be activated for Oltenia, Muntenia, southern and central Moldova, with temperatures of 33-37 degrees.
The orange alert comes into effect on August 11 at 10:00 AM and applies to the same counties, with maximums of 35-38 degrees, locally reaching 39 degrees, while the yellow alert extends across almost the entire country. In Bucharest, the weather will be warm, with maximums of 31-36 degrees.

A yellow warning will be in effect for the Capital, with high thermal discomfort and tropical nights.
