The president of PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, commented on Monday on the INSCOP survey which indicates an increase of PNL over PSD in voting intention for the parliamentary elections.
Grindeanu stated that he is "skeptical" about these results, considering them a "snapshot in time" and emphasizing that previous surveys showed different results. He mentioned that, a month ago, PSD had 20% and PNL 16%, questioning whether the decline of PSD is due to the dismissal of Bolojan.
The survey shows that AUR would obtain 38.2% of the votes, PNL 20.3%, and PSD 17.5%. Grindeanu emphasized that he does not give importance to surveys that appear at strategic moments, such as the consultations at Cotroceni.
Remus Ștefureac, the director of INSCOP Research, explained that PNL has increased by five percentage points, while PSD has decreased by three percentage points, and USR is in regression.
