Calin Georgescu, recently released from judicial control following accusations of promoting fascist ideas, vehemently criticized European economic policies, especially the Mercosur Agreement, which he called 'an institutionalization of food and economic poison.' He stated that those who do not love the country only offer 'food' and do not nourish, emphasizing that the Mercosur Agreement could destroy the Romanian economy.

Georgescu reiterated themes from his program 'Food, Water, Energy,' considering it essential for the survival of Romania. He warned that once natural resources are depleted, it will be too late to understand their value. Meanwhile, the Mercosur Agreement, approved by the EU, aims to create the largest free trade area in the world, but Georgescu expresses concern about its impact on Romanian agriculture.
