At the eighth edition of the Energy Forum, the president of ANRE, George Niculescu, stated that although all actors in the energy sector are dissatisfied with the authority, this is an indicator of the fulfillment of tasks.

George Niculescu argues that, in a field with divergent interests, the lack of a clearly advantageous party indicates relatively correct regulation. He acknowledged the existence of delays in the verifications regarding the price capping scheme for energy, explained by different interpretations of the legislation between institutions. According to him, discussions with the Government and the Court of Accounts have led to the clarification of the situation, and the process is expected to proceed normally in the upcoming period.
