Four defendants, aged between 32 and 42, have been apprehended by DIICOT for international and domestic drug trafficking. They were caught in the act in the town of Găești and in the municipality of Târgoviște, during three successive operations, while picking up packages from courier companies containing 41 kilograms of cannabis. Investigations revealed that the drugs were purchased from Spain and transported to Romania through international transport companies. The judge for rights and freedoms at the Dâmbovița Tribunal decided to place the suspects in preventive detention for 30 days.
