A 33-year-old woman reported that she was followed in traffic by Marian Vanghelie, a former mayor, who allegedly threatened her. Both refused to complete protection orders.

On Wednesday morning, a 33-year-old woman reported to the police that she was being followed in traffic by a 57-year-old man, identified as Marian Vanghelie, a former mayor of sector 5. She stated that Vanghelie had cursed at her and threatened her with death. During discussions with the police, Vanghelie appeared and claimed that, in fact, he was being followed by the woman.

Both refused to fill out the forms for protection orders and stated that they do not know each other. The police have initiated investigations for threats. Vanghelie has a history of legal issues, including a recent protection order against him after he threatened his former partner, Oana Mizil, who was also a victim of acts of violence from him.
