Flavia Boghiu, former USR deputy mayor of Brașov, was definitively acquitted on August 3 by the Brașov Court of Appeal in the case where she was accused of abuse of office by the DNA.
According to this, the judges established that "the act does not exist" and lifted the precautionary seizure imposed during the investigation.
The case concerned the use of the space "Catacombs Behind the Walls" by the Amural Association for the Brașov Underground Museum event, without following legal procedures, which would have led to a damage of 304,010 lei, according to the DNA.
After the pronouncement of the definitive ruling, Flavia Boghiu announced that she intends to return to public life.
