The firefighters in Prahova began interventions on Wednesday morning to evacuate water from houses and flooded properties following the torrential rains from the previous night. According to ISU Prahova, the most affected areas are Păulești and Filipești de Târg, where water has entered homes.
In Filipești de Târg, on Republicii Street, the firefighters from the Băicoi Intervention Guard are intervening, while in Filipești de Pădure, on Gării Street, teams from Dâmbovița are acting. Additionally, in Păulești, on Gențianei Street, the firefighters from Detachment 1 Ploiești are intervening. Other interventions are taking place in Blejoi and Valea Călugărească.
In total, ten teams with motor pumps are mobilized, including one team from Dâmbovița. ISU Prahova has confirmed that no persons or animals have been reported caught by the water. The county is under a meteorological warning for torrential rains, with an orange code until 9:00 AM and a red hydrological code until 12:00 PM.
