On Wednesday, a fire broke out in the basement of the 'Cuza Voda' Maternity Hospital in Iasi, triggering the activation of the Red Intervention Plan. Heavy smoke led to the evacuation of patients, including premature babies, and staff. ISU Iași intervened with 5 fire engines and 2 autoscoscări. The cause of the fire is not yet confirmed, but a short circuit is suspected.
