Bucharest will be overflown, from July 16 to 18, 2026, by fighter jets and helicopters of the Romanian Air Force, as part of training flights leading up to the ceremony dedicated to Romanian Aviation Day and the Air Force, which will take place on Sunday, at the Air Heroes Monument in Aviatorilor Square.

Thus, according to the Romanian Air Force, the Air Heroes Monument in Aviatorilor Square will be overflown on Sunday, July 19, starting at 10:00 AM, by military aircraft belonging to the Romanian Air Force - F-16 Fighting Falcon, C-130 Hercules, C-27J Spartan, AN-30, IAR-330, as well as EC-135 SMURD helicopters, S-70M BlackHawk, and a Bombardier Learjet 75 belonging to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, SA-365 Dauphin helicopters of the Romanian Intelligence Service, Extra 300 aircraft belonging to the Romanian Aeroclub, as well as Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft of the Italian Air Force and the Royal Air Force.

The Romanian Air Force ensures that the flights are conducted in compliance with aviation regulations and safety measures, minimizing the impact on the local community.
