FEDBET launches the platform www.costulinterdictiilor.ro to analyze the economic and social impact of the prohibition of gambling.

The Federation of Gambling Organizers (FEDBET) has announced the launch of the platform www.costulinterdictiilor.ro, dedicated to informing the public and authorities about the impact of banning traditional gambling.

According to available data, the bans could generate direct losses to the state budget of over 700 million euros and a total annual economic impact of 1.33 billion euros, affecting nearly 30,000 jobs. The platform will centralize relevant information and will include an interactive map of the impact in the main municipalities of Romania. The president of FEDBET, Alexandru Domșa, emphasized the importance of centralizing information to avoid the negative effects of policies not based on data. The platform will be a useful tool for authorities, the media, and other interested entities.
