Cartel Alfa reported on Wednesday that the decisions of local authorities, especially the prohibition of gambling activities in physical locations, severely affect the Romanian Lottery, a national company with a tradition of over 100 years.
Trade unionists emphasize that the decision of the Bacău Local Council, which prohibits these activities, represents a misinterpretation of the legal framework and affects not only private operators but also the activity of the National Company Romanian Lottery (CNLR). They warn that measures adopted without proper analysis can lead to the blocking of CNLR's activity, job losses, and a decrease in budget revenues. Cartel Alfa calls for the urgent intervention of the Government to clarify the application of the law, to stop abusive local decisions, and to initiate a real dialogue with all parties involved.
